Tuesday, November 11, 2008Have met smackable kids and adults today. Please teach your children to behave before bringing them out anywhere, screaming and running around the library (large though it may be) drumming on metal dustbins is not acceptable behaviour. (When the noise stopped later I hoped it was because she fell in.) Also, shouting/screaming on the bus is also not considered acceptable behaviour. Please note that the children observed today were not 2 or 3 year olds (otherwise they're really huge sized 2, 3 year olds) but more of about 5 or 6 year olds, fully capable of comprehending instructions and following them. (Unless you purposely choose bombastic words and what not.) Also, uncles nowadays are smart. What do you do when you can't hear your friend on the phone outside? Go into the library of course, where it's nice and quiet, all except for you. "Hello? Hello? Yar, now I can hear you good. Of course la, this is the libny leh. I at the XX libny lohz. Very quiet. Very good to talk." Again, repeat really loud phone user on the bus (sitting behind me). Hai. Not only are we all getting myopia, it seems inevitable that soon deafness will befall us all. =/ 14 days. (would be so much easier to pass if I could skip the studying and sleep all day/and night.) ------------------------------------- I should stop sitting beside the window.
