Monday, March 31, 2008_small.jpg) I just finished watching The Pillowman on Sunday and it was brillant! The plot was engaging and the acting was great as well, I cringed at all the violent bits (though I knew they were just acting), but it was so good to just sit there for that 2 hours and 45 minutes and let yourself be drawn into the story. I adored the stories Katurian wrote, dark though they might be. I teared through The Pillowman, who saved children from the wretched lives they were to lead. "Something about it stayed with me", that in their final moments they weren't alone, they had someone fluffy and comforting there with them. Apples are hardly as innocent as they were before the play. (Though after visiting the $15.90 one at Meidi-Ya I do think apples certainly have different classes too) I do think bits of the play and the stories in them will stay with me for a long time. Thought provoking too, how much responsibility do you take for what you do?
