Sunday, January 20, 2008AH!!! It's the 20th already?? Where has all the time gone? My first paper's in 11 days! 30% of a 6AU module depends on my recognition and understanding(!!!) of 6 古文 passages! -dies- shall self impose a curfew till I get past the 31st of this month, then I can celebrate cny properly. I’ve also discovered that pubs are not bad places to hang out, think I’ll much prefer them to clubs any day (though I have yet to visit a club). =X And 小笼包s at 鼎泰丰 are very yummy!! X) I want a nice yum cha brunch one day.. Red star restaurant anyone? Shall hopefully get my hair cut by cny.. It’s such a nice festival, the containers of pineapple tarts(!!), each filled to the brim with golden coloured tarts, the sweet, moist, fibrous pineapple filling beckoning you to grab one and stuff it in your mouth. The sensation of the buttery base crumbling in your mouth and mixing with the stickier pineapple paste... -swoons- I want my pineapple tarts!! And the fragrance of the (extremely) expensive but still great tasting bak kwa.. Sigh, what a lovely festival. =) Must persevere till the 31st! |
