Updates!

Over the past two months I've bought lots and lots of clothes! XD Okay maybe it's not a lot or doesn't seem like a lot 'cos not all of them are in my cupboard yet (due to lack of space). But once I clear my cupboard I shall have new clothes!

I cut my hair! So now it's about shoulder length and I highlighted it too! It's supposed to be a shade of purple red and I think it's quite nice. Though the guy that did my hair isn't very pro, his shi fu was around to make sure nothing horrible happened to my hair.

I cleared my tables and cupboard this morning, so there was lots of dust flying around and lots of reminiscing about times before.. I kind of regret not treasuring certain relationships and letting friends stray far away.. =( Oh well, can try and talk to them occasionally so we don't lose contact totally.

Oh and while I was clearing my place I dug out my webcam, so now I have a web camera! Though I don't think I'll be using it often 'cos I look very la ta (dowdy) at home and the background of my room is usually quite diu lian and jian bu de guang. =X

I've been slacking my past week away, ever since I left work. Basically I went out for dinner with alice and bp on my last day. <- I <3 this two people. Don't know what I'd do without them to talk to. Having people that know you so well, that give you advice (whether you want to listen to it or not) and basically are always there to listen to you. =)

Saturday morning was spent waiting for/with cg. We were supposed to meet at 1030 to watch the 1050 screening of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. She arrived at 1110. So we ended up watching the er 1250 show if I don't remember wrongly, eating (not very nice) crepes along the way. Then we went to The Village to eat nice(r) crepes, rosti and nice salads.

Sunday was spent out with bp and cg! We went central to shop/walk around and eat. They have very nice smelling croissants(sp.?) at the basement level. Nai cha reminds me of taiwan and I was missing the kids at work. =( They're really sweet and cute and I miss them lots! Think by the time I go back and visit they'd have forgotten me already... Oh well. =( Didn't buy anything that I remember, though we were yakking about random amusing things during nai cha. =)

I woke up quite early on Monday, surprising, since I didn't need to work. Was quite guai cos I followed grandma marketing and all, until an sms and missed call from my tutees' mom reminded me that I had tuition at 9! Managed to reach their place at 12 where I had 3.5 hours of tuition before heading to the library to get books to read. Ever since I quit my job, I've been borrowing lots of books to read! I'm so glad the library increased it's loan quota to 8 books. =D

Tuesday was tuition in the morning followed by Kbox with tj and shell then shopping at bugis! Sigh, don't think we'll ever be so free again.. Kbox was nice cos they let us loiter around till 3 though we were supposed to leave at 2. Shopping at bugis is nice cos they have lots of nice t shirt shops and I bought a bag there plus 2 shirts! We went home for dinner 'cos it was quite late and everyone's family had already cooked and stuff. After spending on tuesday, shopping at orchard on wednesday didn't seem too likely..

Didn't shop much on Wednesday at all! Shell, pj and I went over to meet my darling after NTU check up and after lunch at the cha can ting there, we were walking around taka when we were approached by 2 hairstylist guys who asked if they could cut our hair. Seeing as it was free (typical Singaporeans that we are) and a few of us wanted to get our hair styled anyway, we agreed! Hence I got my hair cut, with my darling and pj by these stylists from the salon there. Quite a fancy place I guess. =D

Thursday was spent highlighting my hair and walking around far east looking for stuff with my darling. I bought skirts! And my feet died from walking around in high heeled shoes. I had a total of three blisters, one really big one on my last toe and two on the skin near my big toe. ANyway it hurt like hell and I hobbled around far east looking for a new pair of shoes/slippers/sandals to wear so I could change on the spot. Even the shoe shop keeper could tell I was in pain. I could never be the sort of girl that 爱美不要命, not without a lot a lot of practice anyway. Life is much too precious to be squandered away like that. And I think my feet would kill me if I put them through such torture again. =X Watched the transformers in the evening with wk and I like bumblebee! Though the plot is kind of simple and the sound effects very loud, it's not a bad show to watch. I confess I'm not a fan and at times I couldn't make out which robot was good and which was bad (especially while they were fighting and flying around) but it's got high entertainment value!

Friday was my last session of tuition and I popped by the library again to return books and borrow some more! Wanted to find The Miso Soup, but apparently it's all loaned out. Couldn't find any nice dessert books that teach you how to make chewy cookies either. =/

Spent Saturday morning reading the books I borrowed and attempting to clear up bits of my table. Went out in the evening with wk and I kind of regret going to the city! It was national day rehearsal day and the place was swarming with red and green people.. There was an interesting food fair at suntec though, the food quality and quantity was nothing to rave about, neither was the variety of foods offered, but it made me miss hk and taiwan food!!! I want to go back to hk and taiwan some day. =( The food there's so good! And I want to go on the amusement park rides and sit on some really scary roller coasters! Sadly I think unless someone else is involved in the planning, I'll be much to lazy to plan my own trip and just book some tour instead. =/

Sunday was mahjong session at kL's house! Heh, we had a song dedicated to us (beng, kL, tj and I) by dearest gg! (who was also at the table) There was lots talk about 彘(s) and people weren't feeling quite sane or coordinated after ingesting some alcohol. Which reminds me, the small vodka bottles are so pretty! I want one in each colour. X)

So here's a short update about the past week and I'm going for prizewinner's concert tmr! And crashing hc on wed! HEHE! =D
