Heh I realised I was tagged by cg and kl to do this so I might as well post now since my Taiwan post will take forever to do up in the mean time..

Each player of this game starts off by giving 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged need to write in a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names.

1) I can spend hours in the library without eating. I'm either too absorbed in my books or am trying hard to mug. I remember staying in the library from 10 to 7 during the pre A levels period.. And I can usually forget I'm hungry if the book I'm holding is interesting enough to keep me occupied. When I visit the library I usually go around looking for about 6 to 8 books and sit down somewhere and attempt to read enough for me to borrow the rest home. That is of course unless the library has the borrow 8 books promotion again, then I just sit and read and look for more new books to borrow. Heh, I'm a nerd I know. =)

2) I do online role playing. The kind where you tag on boards and write long lengths of prose under a particular character you have created (aka John dropped an apple.), then others respond similarly (Mary saw an apple rolling towards her and picked it up, passing it back to John as she walked by) and a whole scenario works itself out. I used to play on a lot of Harry Potter boards where people would start "being" Ron or Hermione or Harry and stuff then put them in non JK Rowling situations like Harry Potter people in university or Harry Potter people all grown up. It's good writing practice, that is if the moderator of the board is strict and requires good grammar and spelling from her/his players.

3) I sleep on the floor if the weather is too warm. My room has no air con and sometimes my bed gets kind of warm when you lie on it for too long and you still haven't fallen asleep. So the floor's the best place since it's cool and nearly directly under the fan.

4) I hate the smell/taste of almond flavouring. I don't mind almonds in the nut form, but once it turns to powder and is thrown into almond jelly or almond milk, it just makes me want to gag. =X Doesn't help that almond jelly contaminates the longan/cake whatever it is that comes with it.

5) I cannot cycle! Nor swim. =( So yes, perfect way to murder me would be to make me cycle down some narrow plank held above a deep pool of water.

6) I like watching Discovery Channel and Animal Planet for all the reptile/animal eating animal bits. And it's only the crocodiles/alligators/big reptiles that I like. It just makes nature seem so much more exciting. =X A bit sadistic I know, but it's just so fascinating! Like whenever they tell you the crocodile is a stealth predator and it's got perfect camouflage then they cut to this watering hole where an innocent unsuspecting four legged creature would be attempting to drink water and suddenly WHOOSH the crocodile surfaces and clamps! it's jaws on the poor thing. Then the crocodile drags it thrashing into the water, pulling it down to make sure it drowns! Occasionally they escape though, but most of the time they don't. I always wonder how long it takes for them to get such footage, how many days or weeks have they spent camping by that water hole? Do they plan their show around what shots they get? Or plan the show and hope somehow they get all the pictures and videos they need?

Ok that was a random and long post. Er, beng, pohjee, shell, tj, ame and er pei pei can do this. =)
