Il Mare



The Lake House

Went to watch The Lake House over the weekend and concluded that it's a nice show. =) It has nice songs in it too, not to mention a good looking cast, amazing architecture and a cute dog! I shall not ruin the story for those who might want to watch it, but in any case it's a show that is very aw-worthy and sweet. Okay, I shall stop gushing about the show already.

Besides the very nice show which I watched yesterday, this weekend has been extremely fulfilling. Not that I mugged extremely hard for 48 hours or anything, but there were two big handovers over this weekend. After breaking off from hc a few months ago and co just last month, it felt nice to get together again. Maybe that's why it was such a happy farewell.. Any excuse to throw the books out of the window and just get together with people whom you've done nearly everything with is always a good way to relax. CO's qing gong yan was a cosy affair, quite well coordinated and relatively heartwarming. =) It was definitely amusing to watch people let go of their inhibitions and do odd things on stage. Of course it soon turned into a mass photo taking session and.. Guess I'll miss everyone in CO a lot, especially my juniors and fellow exco people. =) Hope next year's batch does much better and creates their own set of memories and 闯出自己的一片天地..

黄城的会庆seemed quite formal this year, with lots of batches of seniors and random people whom I've never seen before (probably just suaku-ness) and decorations and all. It feels weird to belong but not entirely? Don't know.. =X Was floating around a bit during dinner and stuff and the part that I guess I was really waiting for was the songs. Then more mass phototaking with lots and lots of people again, heh. And since it was yulaoshi's last year, he was presented with a cake and made a speech.. He's really very very cute la! Hai, I'll miss him lots when he leaves.. No more lame jokes during 红楼 lessons or random niao comments every now and then.. Oh well, 明年的黄城再见了，shall look forward to it. =)
