Wednesday, February 01, 2006When you're having a bad day, everyone else's problems seem so much more insignificant as compared to yours, but they might not be. When you tell someone about your problems, you feel better about having someone to talk to, but that person now has added burden. I wonder how psychiatrists/psychologists deal with it. How can they spend their entire career listening and analysing other people's problems? How do aunt/uncle agonies advise people in a non-judgemental manner? Responsibility, according to dictionary.com means 1) The state, quality, or fact of being responsible. 2)Something for which one is responsible; a duty, obligation, or burden When something fun becomes a burden, and the only thing keeping you there is responsibility, what value does it hold? Punctuality is not appreciated, because people are essentially always late. Things don't go as planned and certain people are just plain annoying. When it gets so exasperating, and yet there's nothing you can do about it. When the smile on your face hides so much more pain within. When questions are met with stilted answers and suddenly everyone seems to be so much friendlier with everyone else but you. When the icy pale hand echoes an even colder heart. |
