Tuesday, November 29, 2005Oh yes, and in other events so far.. Interaction! Hmm, didn't go as badly as I expected, although ice breakers are still immensely dull. =( Being not very interested in ice breakers meant that I didn't pay attention when they were being carried out. Thus the only reasonably interesting game I knew of was whacko. And with that one single game, after combining 3 groups..We managed to entertain them, or rather keep them occupied until the appropriate time. I think that if we cut down the time spent on ice breakers, factoring in the long waits in between stuff, I think we might have finished much earlier than we did. =) But oh well, growing up has made me accept inefficiency as part and parcel of life. Still doesn't mean I have to like it though. Anyway the food was quite good, but there was so much of it! Lots of left overs.. =( Hai, such a waste. The games were..interesting? A bit senseless sometimes, especially when neither team wins = give points based on cheering. =P And water bombs was free for all as usual. We do love our seniors so. =) Must spread the joy and er good fortune? How does the po shui jie thing in Thailand go again? So after drying off, a bit and getting into dry clothes, I went to watch Harry Potter (at last) with ger and hs. First of all, it was $9.50! =| -watches money fly away- And I'm already not getting enough income as it is. =( Anyway, I wished there were more details in the movie, but I guess it can't be helped. With enough imagination I think the book should be enough.. Fleur is pretty!! -gushes- So is Hermione!! The guys looked more or less weird, but the Weasley twins were funny, despite their hair. Dumbledore is less nice and imagining Hagrid with Madame Maxine(sp.?) is just..wrong! I'm actually at baoguan now, typing this in notepad. The morning press hasn't run yet, it's not even 12! But anyway I just finished typing an article about the rise in school fees for independent + ip schools. From about 20+ a month to 200+? =( I think I'm a person who doesn't quite like change. IP and all. Ptsh. I miss the world last time. When society was still relatively slow moving and all. Now everything that is an improvement=moving into IT. Further improvements entail improvement of IT facilities. Syllabus changes, irritating kiddies, naggy adults.. Bleh, things that irritate me to no end. And I think I already bear resentment to the juniors that will be coming in next year. Which is bad. Cos some of them are really nice, I think. But I think I'll just feel like slapping the other half. Oh well. =X |
