Wednesday, November 16, 2005Alrighty then. 3 days of work done. If this is a plot to get me to appreciate school life more, it's working. If I develop an aversion to newspapers after this... Well, it's probably because I've been reading more newspapers here the past 3 days than I probably have the entire of last week put together! Bah, and I work weekends...of sorts. I'm free this thursday and friday and next week's thursday and saturday though, then the two week cycle sort of repeats itself. So yes, prior arrangements must be made before hand if I'm to go out.. Don't think I can go send the taiwan/china people off either.. Missed the OCIP thailand people today already. I think I'm quite horrid, as in I can't put my books down when I start to read. I've been reading lots of Terry Prachett, 卫斯理 and er Thomas Harris's Red Dragon (the er Hannibal author). And of course I've been reading newspapers, lots of it, and recently even my GP issues and ideas. Of course I'm supposed to actually write stuff after I read GP, but I guess I could procrastinate a bit. Not as if the rest of my holiday plans are going smoothly anyway. So much for attempts at revision and consistent homework doing so there aren't any last minute things. Oh yes, 05A12 put up a really cute charity performance last night.. Really talented bunch I must say, 1 hour plus concert by one class alone? Quite pro, and the drama centre wasn't that empty either.. =) I'm starting to miss school, or rather the people in school.. So sad facing adult company day after day. Okay, so I have a few friends around me, but when they disappear for breaks, which coincidentally is today, it's quite miserable? I spent my lunch hour sleeping on the table, which I presume would reflect rather badly, but I was tired and didn't feel like getting out. And I've recently purchased a nail buffer! Or rather it's a nail block that lets you file, smoothen and make your nails shiny and stuff. I think this fascination with nail buffing started in sec 4 when joyce or someone started buffing their nails in class. Shiny objects and stuff are attractive.. Like the disinfectant soap that didn't need water.. During the sars period especially, yingxiang would take out her bottle of disinfectant or steriliser or sth, then start sharing it around the group.. =) Interesting times we had then. Much fun. (= This is quite horrid, I'm still thinking about secondary school, when in less than 2 months, I'm suddenly supposed to go from j1 to j2. Ew. 我不想长大... |
