Thursday, September 01, 2005Haiz, totally lacking efficiency in whatever I'm doing now. =( And this is terribly bad, since there's already quite little time left, and anymore procrastinating or dawdling of any sort will probably affect my studying quite badly as well as the results of my studying. Anyway, I just did something really stupid, like stuff my cd in the cd player and now it's stuck there. So being me, I tried to open the cover and to facilitate that I tried pulling out the plugs without turning off the power supply first. Good job right? I got electric shocks, and I didn't even realise why, since I just thought it was the edge of the shelf that was sharp. But after close inspection, the edge of the shelf was blunt, but the shelf was metal, and the wire was lying on the top of the metal shelf, conducting electricity via the shelf to me! Okay never mind, the cd is still stuck inside and I'm quite upset about that. Probably won't be in a good mood for the rest of the day, blasted weather too. |
