Thursday, April 14, 2005I went back to ny again today, and I realised I still miss it a lot. The atmosphere, the white walls which aren't very clean already, but are still bright. The simplicity of the compound, the regularity of it's structure, the spaciousness of the stage... So many things that I used to take for granted, now I hardly even get to see. Even the small stretch of track and road we ran our 2.4 on, it looks so much more scenic than an entire route of track and track and track... Then I started getting a lot of emails from 14ers, 'cos it's 4/14's birthday today! I didn't even realise the significance of the date until the emails came in... Haven't been in a very good mood lately, a lot of things cluttering up my mind. So much so that I can't focus properly on one thing without thinking of another. And my commitments are overlapping... How am I supposed to choose? There can't always be a way to get the best of both worlds, and I know someday soon I'm going to have to make a decision... |
