Tuesday, January 04, 2005Well, we had a long speech in the morning by the principal, so I was writing on the little tables attached to the chairs with my finger, and smsing people across the auditorium out of boredom. After that we got organised into our ogs and did games and stuff. Basically to tuo yan shi jian, we did a lot of self introduction stuff, where everyone was extremely soft anyway, so a lot of people were called out for whacko without even realising it. Then we did quite a lot of supposedly og bonding games, which I guess it was, in such a way that we knew more names? And we were even yakking during lunch and on the college tour. Oh yes, hc is quite messy, like someone planned the middle, and everyone just added on to the sides, so it's in all kinds of shapes and of different sides. Then erm we did cheers and songs, where I was under the impression that coming to a mixed school, the songs would not reach such high notes, but the hc school song goes quite high. And the tchs chinese school song sounds better than the hc el version. WHich reminds me, tmr is wednesday, school song day. And we have to go for morning assembly. WHee. The college songs were also damn nice, made me think about ny though, and everyone was enthu for cheers! Which is good, except that the cheers were odd and different versions of ours... And whenever you were supposed to shout hua chu for the shan ge, it was enormously tempting to shout nan yang instead. X) doink. Oh well, got split into cts already, and I'm in erm 05s73, which is bio chem math lep. My ideal combi, but supposedly quite tough too. Must jia you. =) Looking forward to orientation tomorrow, because there are no more academic talks!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA No more stoning in the auditorium and trying desperately to pay attention so you won't seem rude. And there are actually supposed to be fun games tomorrow, so I hope it doesn't rain. |
