Friday, January 28, 2005Yay! Huang cheng dao ju zu rocks! I think I'm in a much better mood today than compared th the previous week or so. Anyway we did banner painting today, which was quite fun, if not for the fact that the black paint is mouldy and extremely stinky! Plus the rest of the paint colours seemed to be extremely attracted to my hands and fingers instead of to the cloth... By the end of the day, my hand was mostly white, some parts silver, others blue, red and black. The silver paint was enamel, so I can either soak my hand in turpentine(which is very stupid) or waited for it to harden and fall off (which I did in the end). Well actually I scratched it off. Then till now, we've painted the same books at least 4 times, each time trying to make it look more realistic, but not really quite succeeding, at least not with the titles anyway. And people have been trying to perfect the clock, which still looks unbalanced somehow, but it's getting better. Plus the saloon chairs! Completely black, with a base that was made and painted with the stinky black paint. The annoying thing is moving it to huan chang. The chairs are actually normal computer chairs, with wheels and all. But the thing is that when you lift it, the seat will raise itself, then when you put it down, it deflates! The base also very extra, not only does it make the chair particularly difficult to carry, you have to make sure that you don't squish the cardboard, or else another one would have to be made, and you're sure to get scolded by a lot of people... Speaking of which, we were lianning huan chang today, and although we were supposed to make it under 20 seconds, we managed to clock less than 20 everytime! Ok lahz, it's 18.6? Cutting it quite close, but nevermind. =) I hope they have markings or something on VT stage, or else I'm going to die really badly... And I don't want to get scolded by SM, or the seniors, very bu hao shou de. |
