Yesterday I was supposed to go meet my mum for dinner after school, so I followed her directions and crossed the road to take 157, hoping somehow it would bring me to Queensway. I met Cheryl on the other side, and she told me it didn't go Queensway, but I didn't really believe her and took it anyway. Called my mum halfway to ascertain the fact that I was on the right bus, but she said it wasn't supposed to go the way it did. Then she told me to get off the bus and take a cab. Never mind, the bloody bus stop was quite ulu, somewhere behind SPH near some Toa Payoh JTC building. So I called for cab services, first one I called told me they had no cabs around the area, nvm. Second one I called told me the number was no longer a taxi company's, third one I called had bloody bad service. And I was lost! So naturally I felt hopeless and worried, then I had no proper address to give the woman, so she was like, "You have to help me here, I don't know where you are..." (in this very exasperated tone <- which I got pissed at) Then I told her, "I don't know either." And gua diaoed the dian hua. Thankfully, I remotely knew the area from working there during the hols, so I crossed the road, went under the flyover and to the back of SPH, where thankfully after a while I managed to get a cab.

When I went to my mum's office, she told me she mixed up 157 and 153... DOINK! And she was so sure about it too... Or at least that's what she said. I was very miffed, irritated and on quite a short temper le. =( But being lost is damn kong bu! I got so freaked out I nearly started to tear lohz. Although Singapore is relatively small and all, but if you don't know where you are, it's quite scary? It was like this weird bus stop, then behind had a small park or something, and a construction site nearby. -shudder- Then there was no one there to help, since my dad was working and can't pick me up, and everyone else can't do much anyway. Bleh oh well, then after that went to Expo with my mum for dinner, and went shopping at the Robinsons sale. Didn't buy much, got clothes for my brother instead.

Today had LEP orientation! Okay lahz, everyone was sianning in the morning, and our class was split into different groups. Our group had about 8 or 9 people, and about 4 from our class. We had two group leaders whom were quite cute lahz, very enthu. Played some bonding games, but everyone was still very stone, and I think my slow reaction hai4 dao bu shao ren, bad karma... Played station games, like had a quiz at the Zen garden, then went to the banner painting place and got more questions asked. Then erm... to the top level of dunno which block to do some obstacle course which we were supposed to do blindfolded, but because no one brought blindfolds, they changed it to see how many rounds of the course you could complete in 5 minutes. Then they splashed (very little) water and used the big balls (that council let loose on campfirenight) to whack people. They used so little water, like small droplets and little trickles?? Then to LEP room to play musical chairs I think, which had no purpose but to pick suay people to do mass dance later.

I think the most fun game was the "war game" sort of, since we were chao pro defenders, or at least I think we were, in my opinion. Plus the groups were of ok size, so we all had stuff to do. And we were mostly standing off at various points quite far away from the Zen garden, so quite pro lahz. Managed to catch 2 people, or rather take their ribbons, but kenna scratched in the process... Didn't know that guys kept such long nails anyway. Oh well.

THen we had a song session consisting of one song (yu te de yi fen zi...) and hong qing ting later, but not before a very lame session of skits presented by the 6 groups incorporating phrases (from texts and all) which were picked before hand. Very lame lahz essentially, with everything from cross dressers to santa claus and wu dang shan etc... LEP rocks! Fun lohz... But I'm quite tired now, and there's bio and math tutorial to do! Sian diao.
