I'm irritated. I'm very irritated. And sure as hell it's got to do with the Biology examination. I'm no longer as upset about the questions, as their response to the entire situation. A simple phrase that 'it won't make a difference to the students' marks' is NOT what I would call an acceptable explanation. They can say as many times as they want, that it would not affect our results, but how on earth would we know? Our scripts aren't returned to us, and we don't even know how it "won't make a difference". Are they going to exclude the question entirely and give everyone the marks? Or not give everyone the marks? What if you went against your concepts and followed the graph, do they assume that you didn't know and not give you the marks? Or do they assume you know and give you the marks? What if you ignored the graph and wrote what you learned from your textbook then? Are you wrong? I'm upset that they aren't telling us how they're going to go about fixing this problem, and apparently students pointed out the question to the invigilators, but they told them that nothing was wrong, and to continue to do the paper. -rolls eyes- Whatever. This might be just a few marks to them, but to all the pupils, it might mean the difference between one entire grade.
