Okay, belated open house post.

Started at RJ in the morning with cg and alice, and it was alice's birthday! Not much relevance to the rest of the day, but it was anyway. We walked and walked and walked to RJ, which was very far from Buona Vista mrt station, but stuck in the middle of HDB flats and a condo or two. Quite weird, cos when we went there we were greeted at the gate by a lot of councillors, like some big welcoming party... Hehe. Then we were brought to the canteen, and they told us about RJ and stuff like that. No one brought us around the school because it's old! And they were moving anyway, so they couldn't be bothered, and I think, neither could we. Then we erm went for the school admin talk, which was quite entertaining, cos they have a very nice principal! Very very very nice! Haha, I was so amused by him and the way he presented RJ, and it actually sounds very fun. Like you get to do whatever you want to do, choose your own programmes and even set up your own ccas, not like you don't already have 70 plus to choose from. It's very independent there, with a lot of freedom, definitely not something I'm used to, but I think it could be fun.

Anyway, met my later, and she tried to make us all go RJCO and leave our names there and stuff. And on our way out, we were looking at what we got in the goody bag, and we saw the brick! It's so cute! It's an RJC brick, dunno for what purpose, but it's cute, and very innovative too, since none of the other schools did that, well not that I would know anyway.

Then later we went to HC and were greeted by yet more councillors at the gate! Quite intimidating actually, dunno why. And we erm sort of refused a tour guide cos we wanted to go find seniors, then thankfully met kaixian or else we wouldn't have known where to go, and we trudged along to the co bench, where it was filled with hcco ren + hcco ren de juniors. Said hi to enoch, ger and eugene, shun bian passed them their cds, then sat there and stoned for a while. Put down my name in the erm co book thing, and saw that there were less than erm 7 or 8 dizi names there, which I don't know is good or bad. Then we went outside to see their performance, which was held in the wide open area (plaza issit?) in the middle of the school with this basketball tiled thing on the floor. The co played under threatening skies, and about the second song it started drizzling! We were all erm relatively worried for the well being of the instruments, especially stuff like dimo(!) and the yangqin, but it was an okay performance ba? Dunno, not loud enough for me.. I think the speakers were spoilt. Then have a part that tuo jied if I remember correctly. And my band friend credited eugene saying it was the first time she heard a nice suona, which is quite pro, cos she was erm compelled to come for our co concert and she didn't like the suonas at all. Then erm the xiao yue dui was really quite xiao... Guanyue looks small and erm not loud, unlike what we're kind of used to where guanyue and daji attempts and sometimes successfully blocks everything else out. Oh and we were quite surprised that so many people were willing to brave the rain to watch co, quite unused to the popularity of it...

Then when the rain got heavier, all the hcco de ren and hcco de ren de juniors helped to move the co table and stuff on the table back to the co room, so essentially we were free labour for that period of time, and I think quite a lot of things got soaked, including the very limp and wet appeal form. Then we made ger bring us around (despite her ingrown toe nail <- Don't ask) and we saw...classrooms! Classrooms! More classrooms! Muddy field! Reading Room! "Zen" Garden, the new erm courts, fishbowl! CO room too, which I saw before about the start of the year, and it was...small. It's more like a storeroom than anything else, but they practise in the lt, and supposedly guanyue gets the lt for sectionals too, so never mind. Oh we went to the library too! And saw shao nian shi de miss chek and miss sia, miss sia looks the same, and miss chek looks so cute! Haha, but still can tell it's her lahz, she had erm long hair, with those stright fringe... Dunno how to describe, but it's just very cute. After that we watched a bit of the dances then went off le. Got the bottom of my jeans all wet 'cos of the rain, and the soles of my slippers somehow absorbs water, so I was walking around with cold feet. Quite literally cold and wet feet.
